Gail Brown writes paired science fiction internal journey stories and novels full of hopes and dreams. She found science fiction brings hope and light through worlds of colorful dreams. It mirrors daily life as it could be. Perhaps should be, in some ways. Worlds where disability is accepted, and people live their lives without overwork and fear.
She found fiction and science fiction bring hope and light to a world of colorful dreams. A world where disability was accepted, people lived their lives without overwork and fear.
Gail Brown enjoys exploring science and how it affects our daily lives. If only she could remember a tenth of what she once knew, her novels would be more accurate. Where Gail reaches for the future, she finds hope. Whether in the stars, past, present, of future. There is some grain of truth, some fear to overcome. Some disability that may seem inconsequential to healthier people.
Gail's novels helped her find answers to questions she had asked for decades. Looking back, so many of her characters were autistic, looking for the same answers. Galataria's Echoes is a good example of this. Though written as she searched to understand her autistic self, the story had formed years before.
Trails began with an idea. That idea is Trails 5: Through the Sludge. Not yet published as its twin novel has never been able to be finished. The prequels were easier. Someday, hopefully, if no more disabilities take more memory and brain away, Trails 6: Through Time can be written and completed.
